Services

Start where you need to.

Some businesses need the system built, some need help making it stick, some just want the month-end done. Come in at any step; move up or down as things change.

1 Build it

Set up and hand over

Talk to me about pricingOne-off fixed fee

What's included
The numbers that matter to you, connected to the spreadsheets and systems you already use, checked against your accounts, and refreshed daily where your data allows, so you can drill from the month to the week or the day.
How long
About four weeks from kick-off to handover.
What you keep
The working reports, a one-page guide to each number (how it's worked out and where it comes from), and a training session for the people who'll use them.

2 Make it stick

Bedding-in

Talk to me about pricingFixed term

What's included
A review with you after each month-end: what the numbers say, what's changed, and fixes as questions come up. If the reporting isn't built yet, setup comes first.
How long
Three months alongside you.
What you keep
A month-end routine your team runs without me, and reports they trust.

3 Run it

Monthly

Talk to me about pricingMonthly retainer

What's included
I run your month-end reporting and the review that goes with it. Your numbers arrive on the schedule we agree, with what's changed and what to look at.
How long
Month to month.
What you keep
Everything, always: the reports and data stay yours, and nothing is locked to me.
TO DO (Nathan): confirm the "How long" lines (in italics) and the first 30 days below. They're drafts.

No data to hand over yet?

That's fine. I'll work with you to set up the processes and frameworks to capture it: simple templates, forms and routines your team can keep up. Then the reporting is built on top.

The question everyone asks

“Can I have it in Excel?” Yes.

In the data world that question usually gets an eye-roll. Not here. I'm technology agnostic: if your team lives in Excel, the report lands in Excel. The tool should fit the business, not the other way around.

  • Excel, done properly. A workbook that updates itself from the source, with the same numbers as any dashboard, so nobody copies and pastes at month-end.
  • Use what you've already got. Already paying for Power BI, Salesforce or your ERP's reporting? I build on it rather than asking you to replace it.
  • New tools only if they earn it. If a new licence would genuinely save you time or money, I'll show you why. If it wouldn't, you won't hear about it.

How it works

The first 30 days.

  1. Week 1

    Kick-off

An hour together on the questions you want answered, then read-only access to your spreadsheets and systems. I map where each number will come from.

  2. Week 2

    First numbers

You see the first working version on your own data, checked against your accounts. We agree the definitions: what counts as a sale, a job, an on-time delivery.

  3. Week 4

    Handover

The finished reports, refreshed from the source, with a guide to every number and a training session for your team.

What you'll need to do

About an hour of your time for a kickoff call, and read-only access to your spreadsheets and systems. Nothing to install and no new systems to learn.

Quick wins

Small automations that save hours every week.

Small, fixed-scope jobs, quoted up front, on their own or alongside a dashboard. Each one takes data from where it already lives and moves or reshapes it with tools you already have, whether that's Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or something else. If one needs a paid licence, I'll tell you before we start.

  • Reports and statements filed for you Statements and system reports that arrive by email are saved to the right folder, ready for your dashboards to pick up.
  • Reports that turn up on time Your pack refreshes and lands in your inbox at 7am every Monday, or on whatever schedule you like.
  • Alerts when a number crosses a line A chat or email alert when overtime, overdue debtors or margin goes past your limit.
  • Approvals in a click Purchase orders and expense claims over a set amount go to the right person to approve, and the answer is logged.
  • Overdue invoice reminders A weekly list of overdue invoices, with a polite reminder drafted for each one, ready for you to check and send.
  • Floor data without the paperwork Timesheets, stock counts and wastage logs entered on a simple phone form, straight into your reports.

How I build

Built with AI, checked by hand.

I use Claude to draft and test the queries, code and report logic. You see a working version sooner, and you pay for judgement, not typing.

A shorter build

Queries, scripts and report logic, drafted with AI and checked by me. Small changes come back quicker.

Numbers still checked

Every report is reconciled to your accounts and tested against the source data before you see it.
